A 100 years ago Titanic, the unsinkable ship, sank after crashing into an Iceberg. This past week National Geographic, Discovery and History Channel has sent hours upon hours of fact programs working on finding the reasons to why the accident happend and why the outcome was as horrific as it was.
One of the most interesting programs was the program “Titanic, Case Closed” where researcher Tim Matlin has discovered new facts about the story from that night now 100 years ago like why the lookout posts didn’t see the ice-berg until they were too close to avoid it and why the nearby ship Carpathia did not come to their rescue despite the Titanic sending morse signals for aid. I absolutely recommend this program if you have not seen it.
On top of this the movie “Titanic” with Leonardo di Caprio and Kate Winslet is being relaunched in 3D.
